FAQs

How far in advance should I book?

For the best suites and rates, book ocean voyages 9–12 months out, river cruises 6–9 months, and expedition itineraries 12–18 months in advance.

Do you handle air, transfers, and pre/post hotels?

Yes. We can package premium or business-class air, private or shared transfers, and curated pre/post stays so embarkation is seamless.

What’s typically included on luxury lines?

Most include gratuities, Wi-Fi, beverages, specialty dining, and select excursions. We’ll clarify inclusions by line and sailing before you book.

Can you arrange private shore experiences?

Absolutely. We work with vetted local partners for drivers, guides, wine tastings, museum access, yacht charters, and more—matched to your pace.

Do I need a passport or visa?

Passports are required for nearly all international sailings and must be valid at least 6 months beyond return. Some routes require visas; we’ll advise and assist.

What about travel insurance?

We strongly recommend it. Policies can cover cancellations, medical care ashore, evacuation, delays, and baggage. We’ll quote options suited to your trip.

Dining & specialty restaurants—do I need reservations?

Yes for popular venues. We’ll secure your specialty and early reservations pre-cruise and adjust once onboard as needed.

Is there a dress code?

Most luxury lines are elegant-casual with the occasional formal evening. We’ll share the line-specific guidance and suggested packing list.

Wi-Fi quality at sea?

Starlink and upgraded systems have improved speeds, but it can vary by region and weather. We’ll set expectations per ship and route.

Motion sickness—any tips?

Choose mid-ship, lower decks, larger vessels, and calmer seasons. Bring physician-approved remedies; we can also suggest routes with smoother seas.

Traveling with kids or multi-generational groups?

Yes—we’ll recommend ships with family suites, kids’ clubs, and flexible dining, plus private guides ashore that work for all ages.

Accessibility accommodations?

Many ships offer accessible suites, ramps, and shore options. Tell us your requirements and we’ll match the right ship and ports.

Price drops and promotions—do you monitor after booking?

We monitor eligible promotions and will advocate for adjustments or added perks when possible per the line’s policy.

Cancellation policies?

They vary by line and suite category. We’ll outline the schedule before you deposit and align insurance to protect your trip.

Ready to chart your course? We’ll tailor the ship, suite, and shoreside experiences to you.
